This week we have been learning about re-cycling and how important it is. We have been discussing what things we can re-cycle and re-use and how it helps our environment. We have also been given the role of making sure we empty our paper and plastic milk bottles regularly on a daily basis into the re-cycling bin.
Recycling is important.
Every day we throw away things that are empty, broken, used or unwanted.
Recycling changes these old things into brand new useful things.
Recycling uses a lot less money, energy, and saves a lot of the Earth’s natural resources.
The Welsh Government has set a target for Wales to
recycle at least 70% of our rubbish by 2025 with the aim
of achieving zero rubbish to landfill by 2050.
