Dance Club.
This term in dance club we did a rain dance. We hope it doesn't bring more rain! We danced to music then used instruments that sounded like the rain. Watch our video!

We danced a cake dance. Reception have been making and selling cakes. We looked at how we used different movements when making a cake - stirring, whisking, tapping, etc. Then transfered them to movement!

We have been learning to do country dance formations, working opposite a partner.
Now we are dancing to the story of Jack and the Beanstalk.
We are having lots of fun and enjoying the sessions.
The Dance of the Leaves.
We have been learning "The Dance of the Leaves." We looked at the Autumn leaves and how they move as they fall. Then we danced to classical music and a poem. we then used scarves to represent the leaves. Finally we played with the leaves, throwing catching and making them dance.
