Dosbarth Alpaca have been exploring the forest school area today. They collected some natural materials and then used them to make 2 digit numbers and practise place value. 

Dosbarth Seals have had great fun exploring the forest school area today. We created some leaf art and loved doing some conker rolling. Then we cut them out and made them into planets. 

Dosbarth Alpaca had fun in the Autumn sunshine today. It was a great opportunity to consolidate adjectives with a nature hunt. We got imaginative with our partners to create a hibernating hideout for some of our animals.

Dosbarth Alpaca had another great outdoor learning session. First we completed a nature hunt looking for different shaped leaves. Then we picked our own leaves to make our own Roald Dahl characters linking to our topic. 

Dosbarth Iguana had lots of fun in Forest Schools today with Auntie Lou. We breathed in fresh air, hugged a tree, put mud on our faces, looked and talked about spiders. We then made our own spider from clay and sticks.

Dosbarth Iguana had another fun forest schools session with Auntie Lou. Today we hugged a tree, found rough and smooth objects, sang songs, played the swap game and painted our faces with mud! We loved exploring nature.

Dosbarth Iguana had great fun in forest schools. This week we looked for signs of Autumn and went on a colour leaf hunt, then we made our own leaf crowns.

Dosbarth Alpaca had fun in their outdoor area today. They worked togtether to create a ‘marvellous medicine’ to help George! Medicines of kindness, happiness, fun and laughter were made for Grandma. They recorded their list of ingredients for others to borrow too!  

Dosbarth Iguana had fun in Forest Schools today. We made clay spiders using natural materials.

Dosbarth Iguana had fun in Forest Schools today. This was our last session before the Christmas holidays and had a great time toasting marshmallows on a real fire!

Dosbarth Alpaca had fun in Forest Schools today. We played log square games and talked about rules around the campfire. We had so much fun in the Winter sun.

Dosbarth Alpaca had great fun making bird feeders today as part of RSPB big Garden bird watch. We used butter, cardboard holders and bird seed, then hung them up in our school grounds.

Dosbarth Alpaca had fun in Forest Schools today, even the rain didn’t stop us! We had a campfire made by Aunty Lou and then we toasted marshmallows and played some games.

Dosbarth Alpaca had fun in Forest Schools with Aunty Lou today. It involved Spring sunshine, games and making popcorn! What a fun filled afternoon.
